The maintenance at the park was finished last week, compliments of the Mount Vernon Belvedere Association (http://www.mvba.org/). They arranged for the park to get some needed TLC. The contractors they hired did the following:

• Weeded and mulched the entire park and surrounding street trees
• Painted the fence
• Added sand to the sandbox
• Painted the splash-pad
• Pruned the dead limbs from the large trees in the park
