Thanks to MVBA, the bulbs in the Park’s four light poles have been replaced and are brightening up the corner once again! Although the park is closed at dusk, this really makes a huge difference on the 200 East block of Madison Street and the 800 North block of Calvert Street, as far as safety and visibility are concerned. This is one of the ways the Mount Vernon Children’s Park is a benefit to all those living in the neighborhood.
