With financial support from MVBA, we planted some new shrubs (Mt. Airy) and flowers (Coneflower and Blazing Star) at the entrance of the Mt Vernon Children’s Park. These plants should attract butterflies and add some color to the green space, later in the summer, long after all the spring time bulbs have faded.
