We are taking the quarantine as an opportunity to try something new at the park! We planted Canastota willow cuttings and created little trellis arches in hopes of having living archways in the failed hedge maze area of the playground. This project will take more than one season to grow, so we have to be patient, but with the park currently closed the willows will get a good head start. Once the park does reopen, please be considerate and don’t let your children yank out the willows or break the trellises.
